About these terms#
These terms apply when you use ActionReady.
By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you should not use ActionReady.
For these terms, "ActionReady", "we", "us" and "our" mean the person or business operating the ActionReady service.
What ActionReady is#
ActionReady is a free web-based tool for aspiring UK property investors.
It asks a short set of questions about your property strategy, current situation, and blockers. It then suggests one practical action to complete within a week, with a script, checklist, or template to help you take that action.
The strategies currently covered are:
- buy-to-let
- rent-to-rent
- serviced accommodation / short-term rentals
- deal sourcing
ActionReady is designed to support people who are learning about UK property investing and want help taking a first concrete step.
Who can use ActionReady#
You must be at least 18 years old to use ActionReady.
The service is UK-focused, but it may be accessible from other countries. If you use ActionReady from outside the UK, you are responsible for checking whether the content is relevant to your location and whether your use of the service is lawful where you are.
ActionReady is not designed for minors, and you must not use it if you are under 18.
Your account#
You may need an account to use parts of ActionReady.
You are responsible for:
- using a real email address you control
- keeping your email account secure
- not sharing verification codes with anyone else
- keeping your account information reasonably accurate
- telling us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission
If you use Google sign-in, you are also responsible for following Google's terms and keeping your Google account secure. The same applies to Sign in with Apple if you choose that option — you are responsible for following Apple's terms and keeping your Apple ID secure.
Acceptable use#
You must not misuse ActionReady.
This means you must not:
- try to break, overload, or disrupt the service
- use automated scraping, bots, or scripts without permission
- attempt to bypass security, rate limits, authentication, or bot protection
- access another user's account or data
- submit unlawful, abusive, misleading, or harmful content
- copy, resell, or repackage ActionReady content as a competing product
- use the service in a way that infringes someone else's rights
- use the service for spam, fraud, or illegal activity
We may suspend or remove access if we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.
No regulated advice#
ActionReady is an educational and informational prompt tool only.
It is not regulated financial advice.
It is not investment advice.
It is not mortgage advice.
It is not tax advice.
It is not legal advice.
It is not a mortgage broker, financial adviser, solicitor, accountant, letting agent, property sourcer, or deal-sourcing service. The deal sourcing path provides general educational prompts and compliance-aware first actions only. ActionReady does not find, package, sell, broker, or recommend deals for you.
ActionReady does not assess your full personal circumstances. It does not know your complete financial position, tax position, borrowing ability, legal obligations, local licensing requirements, lease terms, insurance position, risk tolerance, or the details of any specific property.
The actions, scripts, checklists, and templates are general best-practice prompts. They are designed to help you take a sensible next step, not to tell you what investment decision to make.
You are responsible for your own property decisions.
If you act on something suggested by ActionReady, you do so at your own risk. Before making financial, legal, tax, mortgage, letting, planning, or property management decisions, you should take advice from an appropriately qualified professional.
No guarantee of outcomes#
ActionReady does not guarantee that you will:
- find a deal
- secure finance
- get a landlord, broker, agent, or investor response
- make a profit
- avoid losses
- meet legal, tax, mortgage, licensing, or regulatory requirements
- achieve any particular return or result
Property investing carries risk. You should check all information before relying on it.
Content and templates#
ActionReady may provide scripts, checklists, templates, suggested wording, and other materials.
You may use these materials for your own personal property investing activity.
You must not sell, publish, licence, copy, or redistribute ActionReady materials as a standalone product or competing service without permission.
We may update, remove, or replace content at any time.
Your submitted content#
You keep ownership of the information you submit, such as questionnaire answers and contact form messages.
You give ActionReady permission to use that information as needed to provide the service, assign actions, store progress, respond to you, protect the service, and improve the product.
You must make sure anything you submit is lawful and does not infringe anyone else's rights.
Intellectual property#
ActionReady, including its name, product design, content, scripts, checklists, templates, workflows, and written materials, belongs to ActionReady or its licensors.
Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of ActionReady's intellectual property to you.
Privacy#
Your use of ActionReady is also covered by the Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can exercise your rights.
Service availability#
ActionReady is provided free of charge and on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We aim to keep the service useful and reliable, but we do not promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted, accurate, secure, or error-free.
We may modify, pause, limit, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
Changes to the service#
ActionReady may change over time.
We may add, remove, or change features, strategies, questionnaires, actions, templates, emails, providers, or eligibility rules.
We may also introduce paid features in the future. If that happens, any paid terms will be made clear before you are charged.
Deleting your account#
You can ask us to delete your account by contacting hello@actionready.co.uk.
Account deletion is handled in line with the Privacy Policy.
Some limited information may be retained where required for legal, security, or abuse-prevention reasons.
Limitation of liability#
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
As far as the law allows, ActionReady is not liable for:
- investment losses
- lost profits
- lost opportunities
- failed deals
- finance refusals
- tax consequences
- legal or regulatory issues
- reliance on scripts, checklists, templates, or suggested actions
- indirect or consequential losses
- loss caused by inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information you provide
- loss caused by third-party services or websites
Because ActionReady is currently free, any liability that cannot be excluded is limited, as far as the law allows, to the amount you paid to use the service.
Third-party services and links#
ActionReady may rely on third-party services for hosting, authentication, email, database hosting, bot protection, and related infrastructure.
ActionReady may also link to third-party websites or services.
We are not responsible for third-party websites, services, policies, content, or availability.
Ending or restricting access#
We may suspend, restrict, or end your access to ActionReady if:
- you breach these terms
- we need to protect the service or other users
- we are required to do so by law
- the service is discontinued
You can stop using ActionReady at any time.
Changes to these terms#
We may update these terms from time to time.
If we make a significant change, we will take reasonable steps to make it clear, such as updating the terms page or emailing users where appropriate.
Your continued use of ActionReady after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law#
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country give you additional rights that cannot be excluded.
